Personal Life
J. Marc Montijo was born and raised in Bakersfield, California; attended Junior College at New Mexico Military Institute, finished college at the University of California, Riverside, and attended law school at the University of Arizona College of Law, graduating in 1973.

Work Background
Marc has a broad background prior to becoming an attorney. Born and raised in Bakersfield, California when it was primarily an oil and agricultural town, he has worked driving tractors, Cats, working in the potato and other fields, working in potato sheds loading boxcars, working a 110 lb. jackhammer, working with crop dusters, bagging and stocking groceries, was an iron worker and painter, painting all of the signs of the cafeteria and Faculty Club at the University of California, to name a few. Marc understands what a hard work ethic means and of the value of a dollar, which he keeps in mind when he represents any client.

Free Time
Marc enjoys flying airplanes, working out in the gym, hiking, biking, boxing, kayaking and staying active. He has finished 3 marathons, competed in the Greater Mr. Phoenix bodybuilding competition, and competed in Gym Wars 2018, fighting in the cage.
